East Bridgewater, MA |
Thank you for your interest in Michelle's Studio of Dance. We hope to develop in you a love and appreciation for dance that will last a lifetime.
Learning of any kind requires a certain amount of discipline and dedication. Studying dance both develops and requires these important attributes.
Our studio polices are simple, but they must be followed in order to ensure a successful course of study and long-lasting relationship with this studio.
The recital is held in June at a local high school auditorium. Dress rehearsal is held the week of the recital.
Any student NOT planning to be in the recital must let us know by December 1st. Please refer to our class schedule for your recital show time.
There is now a $30 recital video download fee which will be split into two payments of $15 added to the monthly tuition for the months of April and May.
Tuition may be payable in 10 installments (August through May) and is due the first class of each month.
The first tuition installment is paid by the credit card written on the registration form.
A $10 late fee will be added to your account if tuition is not paid by the 15th of each month.
There are no refunds on tuition payments.
Students are required to call the studio in case of absence due to sickness or family vacation. You will be eligible to make-up the missed time only if you choose to do so.
Tuition payments must be paid up to date to qualify for make-up lessons.
You must make-up a class within an one month period from your absence, or your make-up time will be forfeited.
Students must not leave class at any time unless excused by their teacher.
There are no refunds for missed classes.
Morning Classes: Please follow the East Bridgewater Public school schedule. If there is no school, there is no dance.
Note: There will be no make-up classes for cancellations due to inclement weather. Instead, students may “bank” up to 2 extra classes during the month of October
Class schedules are subject to change for holidays.
There are no regularly scheduled classes during school vacations.
A class schedule can be found on our website.
The proper and correct dance shoes must be worn in class. Dancing in bare feet or inappropriate shoes may result in injury and will not lead to optimum technical development.
All students are required to wear proper dance clothes at all times. Hair should be tied back.
Dance shoes and tights may be purchased at the studio.
Jr/Sr Classical and Pre-Pointe/Pointe - Black leotard, pink tights, hair in a bun, ballet skirt (optional)
Parents and visitors are invited to watch class the first four (4) months through the observation window, until we begin learning our routines. This way, students will give full attention in class without any distractions.
No visitors will be allowed in class at any time. Classes can be viewed on our TVs after January on the 1st class of the month.
It is difficult for us to contact every parent personally regarding schedule changes, special events, or recital information. However, monthly bulletins will be emailed or available in the office. We encourage you to contact the studio if you have any questions at any time.
