Michelle is the owner and director of Michelle's Studio of Dance. She has owned and operated the studio for 35 years. Michelle is a member of the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and former President of the Greater Brockton Dance Teachers Association. For many years, Michelle has coordinated and directed the Summer Dance Festival held annually in Sturbridge, MA. She has choreographed many award-winning routines for local and national competitions and has been recognized as an “Outstanding Teacher” by the Dance Ovation Competition. Michelle’s kindness and compassion is shown through her teaching as well as her interactions with her MSOD family members.
Besides her love of dance, Michelle is a proud wife and mother of two daughters. In her time away from the studio she enjoys going to the gym, listening to country music, and spending time with family and friends.
Chantal has been teaching at MSOD for 13 years. Chantal is a graduate of the Dean College Dance program and has received her Associate of Arts degree in dance. With many years experience in the classroom as well as the stage, consisting of both performances and competitions, Chantal is excited to work with students and share her love of dance and joy for teaching. She brings creativity and inspiration to the world of dance and hopes she can teach dancers how to have a positive attitude and be proud of their dance successes. Chantal is a proud wife and mother to her son, who turns 1 this year!
Jill is a graduate of the Dean College dance program and received her Bachelor of Art degree in dance. She has been dancing for many years and has experience in performance as well as the classroom. She has been teaching here at MSOD for 14 years and has always loved sharing the art of dance with her students. Jill not only teaches confidence in her dancing, but allows dancers to achieve their own personal goals while making sure to inspire her students. Jillian is married and a mother of three and currently lives in Bridgewater.
Miss Amanda is from Middleboro and has been working at MSOD for 10 years. Amanda grew up dancing competitively and continued to perform throughout her undergraduate career at UNH. She loves spending Saturday mornings playing with our youngest dancers and working with the Dance Ensemble on Monday nights. At MSOD, Amanda was able to find her passion for educating young children. During the day you can find her at Central School in East Bridgewater. When not at the studio or school you can find Amanda at the beach or out shopping. Miss Amanda is also a new mom to her daughter Kinsley.
This will be Rhiannon's 2nd year teaching at MSOD and she could not be more excited! She started dancing at the age of 7, competing at age 9, and has not stopped since. Rhiannon is currently an Elementary Education and Communication Sciences and Disorders double major at Brigewater State University and is on their competitive dance team. Her other interests include reading and painting. This fall you will see her teaching and jumping in to be a subsitute teacher throughout the season.
Miss Liandra
INSTRUCTOR
This will be Liandra's 3rd year teaching at MSOD. Liandra is one of our Acro instructors. She began dance at a young age and tansitioned into cheerleading, bringing us her expertice on Acro and tumbling. Liandra graduated from Quinnipac University with a BS in health science studies and contines to pursue work in healthcare at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. In her free time Liandra enjoys hanging out with family and friends, reading and exploring new places!
This will be Meghan's first year teaching at MSOD. She has been dancing since the age of 3 and has been a competitive dancer since the age of 7. She is currently a junior at Bridgewater State University as a double major in Elementary Education and English. Meghan continues to pursue her love for dance as she enters her 3rd year on the BSU Dance Team, teaches Zumba classes, and is now thrilled to starte teaching classes at MSOD.
This will be Meghan's first year teaching/subbing at MSOD. Megan is currently a student at Bridgewater State University, where she is studying Elementary Education and Dance. She started her love for dance at a young age, and has been teaching many forms of dance for the last four years. Megan is also on the Dance Team at BSU. In her free time she also loves to spent time with friends, go shopping, and go to the beach.
Mollie grew up dancing here at MSOD and is beginning her 7th year with us as a staff member. She works in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is a graduate of Endicott College and holds her BA in Early Childhood Education and her Master's in Moderate Disabilies; she holds her license in Early Childhood and Moderate Disabilities. Mollie is a Kindergarten Teacher at the Central School in East Bridgewater. In her spare time, Mollie enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Michelle has been with MSOD for over 16 years. Michelle works in our office and is a friendly face for parents and dancers to come to with any questions. She is the mother of 3 daughters and a graduate of Salem State where she met her husband Chris. Michelle enjoys going to the gym, running and cuddling with her dog Georgie. You will see Michelle in the office on Saturday mornings.
Alicia Flaherty

This is Alicia’s 2nd year working in the office at MSOD. Alicia grew up dancing and is thrilled to be back in the dance studio setting. Alicia is a proud wife and mother to her daughter Nora, who is an MSOD dancer and son Declan. In her spare time, Alicia enjoys her peloton, anything Disney and spending time with her family. You will see Alicia in the office on Wednesdays.
